Hyundai H100 Spares
The Hyundai H100 bakkie is the backbone of countless South African small-business fleets, sold continuously since 1993 across the AH and HR (Porter II) generations. The D4BB 2.5 naturally aspirated diesel and the D4CB 2.5 CRDi are the only engines you need to know — both are in stock with us, along with leaf springs, 5-speed manuals, load beds and clutch kits. We strip several H100s per month for parts.

Hyundai H100 Spares — What We Stock
Hyundai H100 spares are the single highest-demand line at our Lenasia South yard — this bakkie has been the default small-fleet workhorse in South Africa for over thirty years. AH (Porter, 1993-2003) and HR (Porter II / Bakkie, 2004-present) parts are both stocked: D4BB and D4CB diesel engines, 5-speed manual gearboxes, leaf-spring sets, load beds and clutch kits are all in steady rotation. If your H100 is broken down and you need a part today, call us directly — H100 stock rarely waits more than a day before it moves.
D4BB and D4CB — the only two engines that matter
The H100's mechanical story is simple. The D4BB 2.5 naturally aspirated diesel powered the original Porter and is still available in the Porter II base-spec bakkie — it is a mechanically injected 4-cylinder, around 58 kW, slow but very, very reliable. The D4CB 2.5 CRDi is the upgrade — common-rail, turbocharged, around 96 kW — and it transformed what the H100 can do without changing the body or load capacity. Both engines are stocked. The D4BB rarely fails outside of injection pump wear and head gasket issues on overheated units. The D4CB has the standard CRDi failure modes — injector wear, EGR cooler issues, occasional turbo actuator failure — all of which we test on used engines before they leave the yard. Browse current stock on our Hyundai engine page.
Drivetrain is equally simple. The 5-speed manual M5BF2 is the box you will find in 95% of H100s, and we carry both inspected used units and clutch components — pressure plates, friction discs, slave cylinders, release bearings, the lot. A handful of automatics exist but the manual is the fleet default and the parts pipeline reflects that. See the full transmission catalogue on our used Hyundai gearbox page.
Where the H100 differs from passenger Hyundais is the wear pattern. These are vehicles that get worked hard. The parts we move in volume reflect that: leaf springs (front and rear), shock absorbers, complete clutch kits, brake drums and pads, load beds, tailgate hinges, cab mounts, steering knuckles, drag links, and the simple-but-failure-prone vacuum brake booster. We strip several H100 donor units per month for these exact items. We also carry full panel-van conversions if you need to switch a drop-side body for an enclosed van, or vice versa — uncommon, but doable.
Buyers on this page tend to fall into three groups. The biggest is small-business owners and family-trade contractors keeping a working bakkie alive — they want a price, a stock answer and delivery this week. The second is courier and logistics fleets running multiple H100s and looking for trade pricing on bulk items (we are happy to discuss fleet rates). The third is the occasional restoration buyer working on an early Porter — we can help, but stock on AH-specific trim is thinner than for the HR. For panels and lights specifically, see our body parts category.
One H100-specific note worth mentioning is the petrol versus diesel question. SA buyers occasionally ask if a petrol H100 is available. The short answer is no — every SA-market H100 has been diesel from the very first 1993 Porter, and every used engine and gearbox listing we hold is diesel-spec. If you are quoting a vehicle you have not seen in person, assume D4BB or D4CB until proven otherwise. The same applies to the gearbox bell-housing fitment — petrol-spec H1 boxes will not bolt to a diesel H100 block.
Lenasia South puts us in the right place for Gauteng small-business buyers — many of our regular H100 customers come from Soweto, Eldorado Park, Johannesburg South and the East Rand. Same-day or next-working-day delivery to those areas is standard. Nationwide courier delivery to Durban, KZN, Cape Town and the rest of South Africa runs three to five working days. Phone or WhatsApp us the part you need and your VIN — we will come back fast with a confirmed price and stock answer.

Common Parts We Stock
Known Hyundai H100 Issues
D4BB Injection Pump Wear
Symptom: Mechanically injected D4BB 2.5 diesel loses power and smokes when the injection pump wears after 200,000+ km of fleet use.
Fix: Replacement injection pumps in stock. D4BB head gasket failures on overheated units also common. Compression tested before every engine sale. From R8,500
D4CB CRDi Injector Wear
Symptom: Rough idle, excess smoke and power loss on the D4CB 2.5 CRDi injector nozzle wear and EGR cooler blockage are standard fleet-use faults.
Fix: Tested used D4CB injectors and replacement EGR valves in stock. Turbo actuator failure is the next most common D4CB fault. From R7,500
Clutch and Leaf Spring Wear
Symptom: Clutch wear is a predictable service item under fleet loading. Leaf spring sagging from overloading is endemic in small-fleet H100 use.
Fix: Complete clutch kits, pressure plates and leaf spring sets in steady stock for both AH and HR H100 generations. From R3,200
